What's Going On At NBC News?

Can someone tell me what the heck is going on at NBC News? Slowly, but steadily, their 6:30 newscast seems to be moving more and more to the center. Maybe it's just me, but their evening news seems to be much more........ ACCURATE! And fair. The love affair between the "almighty one" and NBC News seems to be dwindling. Honestly! Political reporter Chuck Todd has been particularly tough on Obama and his rush to get the health care bill through Congress. I have been watching the "Nightly News" now for two straight weeks (no, I'm not a pain killers) and to my surprise, there has been no bloviating about what a fantastic job the President is doing. In fact, after Obama's laughable press conference last week, Todd was actually critical of Obama, correctly pointing out the the "Chosen One" did nothing to further his health care agenda. HUH? He even noted how Obama botched the last question of the night by demeaning the Cambridge, MA police force by calling them stupid. AND, there has been no extended coverage of the number of soldiers killed in Afganistan during July. Furthermore, and I swear I'm not making this up, they have been extremely fair to Sarah Palin. Has Brian Williams finally gotten a handle on the left-wingers running wild in the newsroom? So somebody please tell me, am I just finally turning into the left-wing radical that's inside all of us, or am I onto something??? Please, watch the NBC Nightly News this week, and let me know what you think. P.S. This in no way refers to MSNBC. The only thing that would cause THAT "network" to be fair would be a labotomy.

Cap N' Trade

Please. I am asking nicely. Please contact your Senator(s) and demand that he/she votes NO on the Cap N' Trade bill coming up in August. Even if you have no idea what it is, please, trust me just once. It is important for your children's future. I have no children, yet I beg you, for YOUR childrens' sake, contact your Senator(s). Simply leave a voice message or email him/her and say that if he/she votes YES, you will not vote for him/her when the time comes for them to be re-elected. Plain and simple. And, when the vote finally comes up in the Senate, see how your Senator(s) votes. Please............

The Life of a Young Black Conservative

I ask you to please click on the link below, which will take you to a posting by Glenn Beck in which a young African-American named Jerome Hudson had written an op-ed during the 2008 election on being a black conservative. I hope it gives you some insight into what it's like to be a Conservative in America today, black, white or any other color, but black in particular.

So Many Czars. So Little Oversight.

I found a great, short article about how the Obama administration is quickly and quietly shifting ALL power from the legislative branch of government to the executive branch (that would be our President), dummies, I mean lemmings. READ IT!

Better Days

Click on the link below to see where we are headed. What Obama has been promising us. Oh, by the way, Obama's the jester in this old Supertramp video. I guess Rick Davies had it right all along.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nmPZgkt2D4 or click on the Better Days video in the right tool bar.

Here are the lyrics (courtesy stlyrics.com)

Trust me, I can help you
Feel free, we can save you
Join us in the good life
And better days, better days

Campaign for a new life
Champagne and the bright lights
Make way for the right way
And better days, better days

You didn't realize about the other life that we can give you
We'll open up your eyes and make you see the light that's all around you
We'll help you work it out and then you'll never doubt
Our intuition, our vision, our decision, our mission, so listen

No war, no inflation
No more desperation
You'll see we can show you
Better days, better days

NO HUNGER, higher wages
Good schools, smiling faces
Make way for the new way
Better days, better days

We're going to lead you down to where the sun is always brightly shining
We'll push away the clouds and show you there's a gold and silver lining
We'll take away the pain, you'll want to try again
You won't be sorry, so don't worry, don't worry, so hurry and join me
